The Good Grain
The Good Grain is an artisanal micro-bakery located just off waiyaki way. I’ve always heard good things about this place so I was very excited to check it out. It’s quite a small space (hence the micro) but still spacious enough to not feel crowded when customers stream in and out. Love the little patches of green at either side of the entrance where you’ll most likely find 2 - 3 people sprawled on raffia mats basking in the Nairobi sun while enjoying a coffee and a pastry or two.

I love a good beach side restaurant and Papa Remo is just that with all the vibes to match It’s spacious with lovely coastal decor, comfortable lounge areas and a great central bar. The ocean breeze welcomes you as you walk in and head towards the tables on the beach (best seats in the house imho). The views my goodness!
I came here for a solo dinner and I was very ready to stuff my face.

My love for butter chicken has no bounds and Ando Foods get it right every time. Butter chicken is and will forever be a fave! The Palak Paneer was a first for me to try this year & the lactose intolerant in me persevered & survived.
I also tried the Chicken Masala curry - didn’t enjoy that one as much as the butter chicken but it wasn’t bad. The curries come with freshly buttered Naan or garlic Naan.
