Umami street is located in Lavington but is quite tricky to find since they didn’t have any signage leading to it. They need to fix that. When you do eventually find it, it’s located in such a pretty compound! So bright and green and it looks even more stunning when the sun is out and the cherry blossoms peep out of the perfect hedges! I came here for lunch with a few friends and since some of us had just come from Japan, it made sense to come try some Japanese street food so they can tell us how legit it is.

Joto Ramen is the new kid on the block in regards to Ramen spots and I was glad when they finally got a standalone location at the Alchemist because I kept missing their pop-ups! Also, I did not know the alchemist had that much space because Joto Ramen is quite spacious - it opens out at the back of alchemist with lots of seating and the floating red lanterns create a fun vibe be it day or night.

Tokyo Drift is a Japanese izakaya restaurant meaning a kind of tavern/casual bar that serves hand-crafted drinks and small plates much like the Spanish tapas style of dining. It focuses more on the social aspect of dining and the meals here are inspired by the night life and street food in Japan. It is part of the Sierra restaurants and is located on the 1st level of the Sierra restaurant in Yaya centre.
