Pickled is a cafe & bar located off Olenguruone Avenue in Lavington - where Nabo Bistro used to be. They took over the Nabo space last year and really revamped it, giving it a very boho-chic vintage style that is befitting of an up-market cafe. It’s surrounded by a lot of greenery, I really love that there’s a variety of plants everywhere inside and outside. There’s a yummy eucalyptus bush at the entrance that made me very happy.

Coffee & Plant is a nice vibrant cafe located along General Mathenge Road in Westlands. Randomly stumbled upon their page on Instagram and said I had to go check it out particularly because they specialise in plant based cuisine and a fusion of specialty coffee. I also originally thought they sell plants too due to the name but I was immediately corrected once I got there. The restaurant is big and I love that it has both an indoor and outdoor section by the terrace.

Taking a small break from the big restaurants today to talk about this small but cool cafe in the middle of Kilimani. Right off Lenana Road, coffee and bagels has a nice big sign so you can’t miss it and is in the same compound as possibly the busiest car wash in the area (that place is never empty!) When they first opened years ago, I was hesitant that they’d actually have good bagels and I was right… at the time.
