Talking about another cloud kitchen turned dine-in restaurant today! Siam Thai Kitchen is one of 7 brands under the Ando Foods umbrella and I love that their family just keeps getting bigger and bigger! (Still waiting on that dessert brand👀) As the name suggests, Siam is a Thai restaurant serving up nothing but good authentic Thai cuisine and coming from the Ando brand, I really expect nothing less. They opened quite a while back but I didn’t get to try anything from there until a few weeks ago.

There’s so many eateries popping up every other week, it’s so hard to keep up with all of them. One place though that’s only been in business for just a few months is already making a mark in the industry - a super crispy mark at that. Crispy Chick is a cloud kitchen that’s serving some very delectable fried chicken😋 Who doesn’t like fried chicken? Add different flavour varieties and I’m inside that story kabisa!

I came across this place on Instagram’s explore page, I saw a few people talking about it and the food looked nice so I decided to try it one day. It’s located on Lenana road, in the lobby of 197 Lenana Place office building. It’s quaint and not super spacious but it fits the cafe aesthetic really well. Cosy seating all around and great lighting especially in the corner seating areas.

Sea Wolf in Brooklyn came highly recommended by some friends and reviews online seemed mostly positive so I was excited to try some fish in the big apple finally. We ordered a few different things to try - the spicy shrimp basket, fish and chips, San Diego style fish tacos, grilled chicken salad and a classic burger. The only thing I enjoyed here was the spicy shrimp… The fish in the fish & chips was covered in a cake level of batter, I couldn’t eat past one bite.

So I’m probably gonna sound biased but I truly feel like this is one of the best places for a good rich southern style brunch in New York. It’s one of my faves, and I always have to come here anytime I’m in this city and it never ever disappoints be it dine in or takeout👌🏾 So - context, Sweet Chick is a restaurant owned by Nas… yes that Nas. There are various locations in New York, Los Angeles and London too.

As always, I noticed the decor first. Love love the decor. There’s a particular velvet chair with roses on the back that I want in my living room but let me stop digressing sorry… (But if anyone knows who did their outfitting let me know please) I’ve not had a lot of West African food so I was quite excited to taste all the peppery goodness because I’m a lover of all things spice.
